Data protection laws in certain jurisdictions differentiate between the “controller” and “processor” of information. I had no idea how much this app or what would be the trial term, but since we tried all day that day and could not be successful, I just gave up. Today I realized that this app is making me pay a monthly fee of $9.99 since two months😳 We have never opened the app, never been able to use, even for once, and paid all those money! My suggestion to all future customers would be to go to their settings and cancel their subscriptions in case that they will face the same problem as we do. Apple chat support warned me that it is not enough to delete an app if it is a subscription even during the trial period. Sorry I am not an insider since I have never been able to use the app but I also don’t believe that I am the only person who faces a such problem so wanted to warn you all.

My 4 year old son is really enjoying the Homer app. Homer combined with daily classroom instruction has improved his skills to prepare him for Kindergarten. Companies can ask for reviews via automatic invitations.

It is way too difficult for her to try to judge the trajectory of the letters. It would be better if she could just touch and drag the letters to the correct tower spot. When you create an account, you may be prompted to create a username or password. Homer has a lot of great videos/games and I don’t have to force my daughter to pay attention. She enjoys using the app whereas she did not enjoy ABC mouse. It seems like the learning path is pretty repetitive with Homer though.
I would enjoy this app more if I were able to control how much time is spent, if any, on the music video/art/game sections rather than on the path. My son has found those sections and now would rather do those than the path which makes the Homer App not worth it because he isn’t learning which is the point of the app. With a time restriction or maybe earning time to play on those sections after doing a certain amount of path it would be better and more useful. It’s a great app except that you have to be connected to the internet to play.

Our Services do not allow children to make personal information publicly available. Having previously used ABC mouse I can say I think Homer is overall a better learning app for kids. The app seems to function better Homer actually makes kids think whereas ABC mouse was a click and move on for a lot of activities. I felt like she wasn’t learning anything with ABC mouse unless I forced her to pay attention to the songs.
